We’ll start with a few quick questions to get to know you and set up your scan.
Next, you’ll lie face up on the scanner for about five minutes while it captures a detailed snapshot of your body.
Once that’s done, we’ll generate your reports and walk you through everything, step by step.
We believe our greatest value happens after the scan. Some places hand you a printout report and send you on your way. Not us.
After your scan, our Wellness Concierge will briefly review your key metrics, answer general questions, and provide both the scanner generated report and our own in house report. Our reports are designed to help frame your results in a clearer, more useful way by comparing them to relevant population data.
Our DEXA program is overseen by our medical director, Dr. Jesse Gill, who helps guide the standards behind our reporting process. Please note that the standard DEXA scan does not include a physician review. If you would like tailored medical guidance based on your results, an optional physician review is available for $150.
Our DEXA scan provides a whole-body bone density screening to help you understand your bone health and how it compares to others your age and gender. It is not a diagnostic test for conditions like osteoporosis or osteopenia, which typically require targeted hip and spine scans performed in a clinical setting.
Bone density data is limited to ages 20-80 with max weight approximately 300 lbs (or BMI of 40).
We print both reports for you during your session.

DEXA: THE GOLD STANDARD FOR METRICS
A DEXA scanner measures your tissue using two low-dose X-ray beams. It is the method used by researchers, hospitals, and elite athletic programs because the results are consistent and precise.
BIOELECTRICAL IMPEDANCE
Devices like Evolt or InBody measure how easily an electrical signal passes through your tissues and then uses an algorithm to estimate your body composition.
The problem is that electricity doesn’t move through your body the same way every day. Your hydration level, recent meals, caffeine intake, skin temperature, and even menstrual cycle can throw off the results.
CAMERA BASED
Camera-based systems, like Fit3D or Styku, are primarily shape and volume scanners. They don’t measure your internal composition, just the outward dimensions of your body. The software then estimates fat and muscle percentages based on body shape averages.
They can be useful for tracking visual changes, but they don’t actually know what’s happening beneath the surface.
